Job Summary
Meat Helper needed to support Food City's meat department with customer-focused service and efficient product handling. Responsibilities include greeting customers, stocking and rotating products, ensuring proper packaging and weights, following Food Safety program, assisting with light cutting, receiving orders of processed meats, maintaining accurate pricing, keeping display cases clean and well-organized, maintaining correct product dates, and adhering to on-site scheduling and hygiene standards. Strong teamwork, the ability to follow verbal/written instructions, and a positive, friendly attitude are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
