Job Summary
Meat Helper duties include providing courteous customer service in the Meat Department, greeting customers, assisting with stocking and rotation of products, ensuring correct packaging and weights, following Food Safety programs, assisting with light cutting, receiving/ordering processed meats, maintaining price accuracy, keeping displays clean, ensuring proper code dates, sanitizing the department, and adhering to on-site schedules and attendance policies. The role emphasizes teamwork, a positive customer-first environment, and maintaining neat, compliant displays in a part-time, on-site capacity.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
