Job Summary
Meat Helper role supporting the Meat department at Food City with customer-focused service and operational tasks. Responsibilities include greeting customers and providing prompt, courteous service; ensuring self-service products are properly packaged with correct weights and ingredients; following Food Safety program; stocking and rotating products; organizing cooler displays; light cutting; receiving/ordering processed meats; maintaining correct pricing; keeping display cases neat, clean, and up-to-date with code dates; ensuring packaged self-service items are properly packaged and weighed; maintaining a clean workstation and sanitary department conditions; and attending on-site shifts in accordance with company attendance policies. Requires ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions, perform routine tasks, and interact with various levels of individuals daily.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
