Job Summary
Meat Helper at Food City in Harrison, TN responsible for assisting in stocking and rotating meat products, maintaining proper packaging, weights, and labeling, ensuring food safety, and delivering courteous customer service. Responsibilities include organizing cooler arrangements, assisting with light cutting, receiving/ordering processed meats, maintaining accurate pricing, keeping display areas neat and clean, sanitizing the department at least twice daily, and adhering to attendance policies. Requires on-site work, strong teamwork, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff while following company food safety practices and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
