Job Summary
Meat Helper responsible for courteous customer service and support of Food City’s mission to run the best store in town. Responsibilities include greeting customers, providing prompt and efficient service, ensuring self-service products are properly packaged with correct weights and ingredients, following the Food Safety program, stocking and rotating products, organizing cooler displays, light cutting, receiving/ordering processed meats, maintaining correct pricing, keeping display areas neat, ensuring proper product dating, and maintaining a clean workstation. The role requires on-site attendance during scheduled shifts and adherence to time-and-attendance policies. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
