Job Summary
Meat Helper position in Food City's meat department. Responsibilities include greeting customers, providing prompt, courteous service; assist in stocking and rotation of meats; ensure proper packaging, weights, and ingredients; follow Food Safety program; assist in light cutting; receive/order processed meats; maintain correct pricing and display conditions; keep work area neat and department sanitized (twice daily); ensure self-service products are properly packaged and labeled; adhere to company time and attendance policies. Ideal candidate will deliver a positive, customer-first service experience, work within a team, and maintain product quality and proper dating on display cases.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
