Job Summary
Fill customer orders for meat, seafood, and cremeria products accurately, package, weigh, and label items with care. Stock and clean displays, rotate products for freshness, and maintain merchandising standards while ensuring pricing and labeling accuracy. Assist with sanitation processes, monitor case temperatures, and operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely. Work in a fast-paced retail environment requiring constant standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn different types of meat, seafood, and cremeria products
- Ability to learn product codes and uses
- Basic understanding of English language
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, crowded environment with a sense of urgency
- Team-oriented, professional, and respectful attitude
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to carry up to 100 feet
- Must be able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other moving equipment
- Must be able to stand and walk constantly (6–8+ hours/day)
- Must be able to frequently bend neck/waist, squat, twist, and reach above/below shoulders
- Must be able to frequently use hands for grasping, pulling, pushing, and fine manipulation
- Must be able to work near equipment and machinery; exposure to noise, temperature, and humidity changes
- Must be able to work safely, using protective equipment, and report unsafe conditions immediately
- Must be able to treat coworkers and customers respectfully; follow company policies and dress codes
- Must not operate equipment without proper training or authorization
