Job Summary
Deliver outstanding customer service while supporting Farm Boy's vision of the best fresh shopping experience. Collaborate with the Store Manager and Retail Specialist to execute strategies that drive performance and achieve departmental goals. Build a culture of trust through one-on-one coaching, regular team huddles, and hands-on leadership. Oversee departmental operations including inventory management, ordering, product quality, shrink control, and payroll functions. Manage recruitment, training, performance reviews, and compliance with Safe Food Handling and Health & Safety policies. Participate in store coverage rotations as Manager on Duty, including opening, closing, and emergency alarm response. Maintain confidentiality and uphold company policies during management meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in business
- Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in a similar role
- Completion of Public Health Food Handler certification
- Smart Serve certification
- Level A First Aid & Basic CPR certification
- Commitment to obtain all required certifications within six months of hire
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
