Job Summary
Manage the meat department's daily operations, including SOP adherence, product planning, ordering, and employee supervision. Maintain product freshness, ensure full shelf stocking, and control inventory movement through FIFO practices and physical counts. Coordinate with store management to design promotion plans, meet sales targets, and receive poultry shipments for quality and quantity checks. Provide employee schedules, handle Human Capital Management through coaching and performance reviews, and maintain a safe, clean workplace. Travel between stores for training purposes and work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience in related fields
- 1 year of management/supervisor experience
- Work in an environment with varying temperature and use equipment
- Require lifting 25+ lbs objects and long periods of standing
- Must be able to work at a flexible schedule (night, weekends & holidays)
- Must be able to travel between different stores for training purposes
- Capable of reading, analyzing, interpreting technical procedures and training materials
- Able to speak, write, present, commute, and respond to information and questions
- Great interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
- Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, mass and volume
- Commit to company values and customer services
- Authorized to work in the United States
- At least 18 years old
- Weekend & Holiday required
- 6 days a week
- Overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with inventory management programs, Microsoft Office, IT retail, or SAP
- Bilingual English, Chinese, and Spanish
