Job Summary
Meat Market Associate cleans and maintains meat prep and storage areas, assists with stocking and inventory, and provides courteous customer service in a fast-paced, cold-refrigerated environment. Responsibilities include meat cutting/preparation, operating equipment/tools, adhering to food safety regulations, identifying unsafe conditions, and contributing to safe, organized department operations. Must be able to read/write English, communicate effectively, and handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds; evenings and weekends availability may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous experience cleaning in meat cutting and preparing areas
- Customer service experience
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
- Ability to understand and follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and reach
