Meat Department Associate - Prep

Meat Department Prep Associate responsible for preparing, packaging, labeling, and stocking meat products to display and sell while upholding food safety and sanitation standards. Duties include trimming, portioning, marinating, and packaging meats; maintaining clean workstations and equipment; rotating inventory using FIFO; stocking display cases and ensuring accurate pricing, weights, and expiration dates; following health regulations; assisting customers with product questions; safely operating knives, grinders, and slicers; helping receive deliveries, and organizing inventory in coolers/freezers. Ideal candidates will have basic understanding of food safety, ability to work in refrigerated environments, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, reliable attendance, and flexible schedules (including weekends/holidays). Preferred experience in grocery/ butcher/deli or related food prep, familiarity with meat cutting tools, and strong customer service and organizational skills.
