Job Summary
Assists in the daily cutting of fresh beef, pork, and grind while following a production schedule to meet targets for advertised fresh meat cuts. Also involved in writing fresh meat orders, organizing and checking in deliveries, maintaining positive relationships with customers and team members, and supporting inventory control. Requires familiarity with weights and measures for meat processing, adherence to safety/sanitation procedures, experience with product presentation/packaging, and use of Computer Assisted Ordering systems; possession of a current handjack/hilo license. The role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and adherence to quality standards alongside development opportunities within a long-standing retail meat department.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with weights and measure processes specific to meat processing
- Ability to understand and follow specific safety and sanitation procedures
- Experience in product presentation and packaging
- Experience using Computer Assisted Ordering applications
