Job Summary
Meat Cutter at Golden Corral; duties include cutting meat according to product specifications and time standards, using the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life, rotating and stocking meat to ensure freshness, maintaining the meat cooler per food safety guidelines, sanitizing surfaces to prevent cross-contamination, complying with health department laws, maintaining inventory and reporting discrepancies, performing opening/closing procedures, and supporting guests with friendly service in a fast-paced environment. Must follow equipment maintenance, wear PPE, and adapt to varied temperatures and scheduling while supporting guest dining experiences through quality product preparation and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions with attention to detail
