Job Summary
Meat Cutter/Trainee position at Four Rivers Co-op in Vanderhoof, BC. Responsibilities include cutting, slicing, preparing, and wrapping meat; stocking shelves; maintaining sanitation standards per Food Safe protocols; keeping the sales floor organized; and teamwork to deliver excellent guest service. Requires meat cutting experience as an asset, knowledge of food safety, ability to work in refrigerated environments, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and basic computer skills. Competitive pay range of $23.60–$31.46 per hour, plus benefits and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Meat cutting experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge of food safe handling practices and sanitation protocols
- Willing to work in a refrigerated environment on a daily basis
- Able to lift up to 50lbs as required
- Retail experience in a similar position would be considered an asset
