Job Summary
Meat Cutter handles cutting, weighing, packaging meat (and some seafood) for displays; delivers outstanding guest service while following safety, sanitation, and regulatory procedures (FDA, HACCP, OSHA, Weights and Measures). Maintains clean, stocked cases, applies product knowledge, and may work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years or more experience in a meat department
- Guest Service focused
- Knowledge of meat products and cuts
- Food Handler Permit
- Walking, standing, bending and stooping for 8-10 hours a day
- Push, pull up to 50lbs
- Mental and physical dexterity
- Ability to climb ladders
- Unassisted lifting up to 50lbs or more
- Work in varying temperatures
