Job Summary
Cut beef, pork, veal, poultry, and lamb to company standards while wrapping products, weighing, and pricing meat. Stock meat cases, freezers, and displays in a neat manner after unloading deliveries and storing items in designated areas. Maintain back room, cooler, freezer, fans, drains, and display cases by monitoring temperatures, reporting failures, and rotating products first in first out. Keep work areas swept, orderly, and free of hazards while practicing proper sanitation and safe equipment practices on grinders, slicers, and saws. Report theft, shoplifting, or unauthorized mark downs to management. Complete onboarding and e-learning checklists within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have knowledge of all cuts of meat.
- Must be Servsafe certified.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location.
- Authorized to work within the U.S.
