Job Summary
The Meat Cutter is responsible for cutting and trimming meat and related products according to company standards. Key functions include pricing and displaying products under the direction of the Meat Manager or Supervisor, maintaining clean work and storage areas, communicating any temperature failures, and ensuring good customer service. The role requires the ability to read and write for proper labeling, manual dexterity, physical strength to lift heavy products, and at least one year of experience in meat processing.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag product.
- Must have dexterity in hands to enable the cutting and trimming of the meats.
- Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time.
- At least one year experience as a meat wrapper.
