Job Summary
The Meat Cutter is responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing various cuts of meat including beef, pork, poultry, and lamb. Key responsibilities involve adhering to company standards for meat preparation, maintaining cleanliness in work areas, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Essential skills include dexterity for meat cutting and the ability to lift heavy weights. Previous experience as a meat wrapper is required, and excellent customer service is vital for this role. The job is a full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag product
- Must have dexterity in hands to enable the cutting and trimming of the meats
- Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time
- Should have at least one year experience as a meat wrapper
- Must be able to stand upright for most of your scheduled work shift
