Meat Cutter Part Time

Engages with Members by making recommendations and answering questions regarding meat, poultry, and seafood; prepares special cuts ordered by Members and processes fresh meats to company standards. Cuts, weighs, wraps, and labels meat products, maintains meat department organization, rotates inventory by expiration date, and ensures sanitation and safety standards are upheld. Supports merchandising across meat, seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, and deli, while delivering service excellence and contributing to a positive member experience. Requires prior meat cutting experience and completion of a training program/apprenticeship; must be at least 18 years old. Position is part-time in Utica, NY, within a BJ’s Wholesale Club meat department, with a pay range of $19.75-$24.75 per hour, and weekly compensation.
