Meat Cutter

Meat Cutter responsible for stocking and maintaining meat cases, assisting customers, and ensuring pricing accuracy. Duties include presenting and organizing meat items, cleaning and sanitation of meat aisles, monitoring temperature and freshness, inspecting shipments, operating knives, scales, wrappers, and packaging equipment, complying with safety protocols and COOL requirements for seafood, and supporting inventory and cross-selling efforts. Requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, ability to work in a fast-paced grocery environment, and flexibility to work varied hours; prior grocery/meat department experience and completion of a journeyman program are preferred.
