Job Summary
Lead by example in the Meat Department by engaging peers for exceptional customer experiences, assigning daily tasks, and mentoring team members to meet sales and service goals. Monitor product rotation and dating policies to ensure freshness while guiding staff in food safety compliance and safe operations. Coordinate with leadership on scheduling to boost engagement and profitability, and oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and display. Operate registers, powered equipment, and conduct period-end inventories as needed. Requires experience as an experienced Meat Cutter or Apprentice. Full-time role with weekly pay starting at $18.00/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Must be an experienced Meat Cutter or Meat Cutter Apprentice
- Passion for customer service with total engagement that conveys approachability to customers and fellow team members
- Initiates interactions with customers and peers
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to influence others
- Ability to quickly build rapport and gain customer confidence to create repeat business
