Job Summary
Prepare, store, cut, clean, and serve meat while monitoring food distribution and ensuring guidelines are followed. Clean and sterilize dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment, and facilities; maintain coolers, cases, and displays by keeping them stocked. Give customers friendly, courteous, and prompt service while maintaining good communication with the meat manager. Share responsibility for controlling shrink by properly recording hours, verifying time tickets, and assisting in inventorying products before prepaying orders. Assist in maintaining proper records to control shrink through inventory and ordering, ensuring product rotation and that all coolers run at proper temperatures. Follow all safety procedures and properly clean and maintain the meat department, coolers, cases, and equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
