Job Summary
Cut fresh meats, smoked meats, seafood, lunchmeat, and frozen food to specifications while greeting and assisting customers in a prompt, courteous manner. Receive and breakdown meat deliveries, then properly wrap, weigh, price, and cube products as directed by company standards. Utilize peak time performance cutting lists to trim all items, ensuring compliance with local weights and measures laws, sanitation standards, and safety protocols while operating department equipment. Stock and rotate department products to maintain freshness and minimize waste, keeping the work area clean and reporting any hazards or policy violations to management.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
