Job Summary
Greet customers courteously and assist with orders while cutting fresh meats, smoked meats, seafood, lunchmeat, and frozen products to specifications. Receive and breakdown meat deliveries, then cube, slice, grind, and trim items using peak time performance lists. Properly wrap, weigh, and price product while adhering to local weights and measures laws, sanitation standards, and Country of Origin Labeling. Operate department equipment safely, stock and rotate products for freshness, and maintain a clean work area free from hazards. Report faulty equipment, theft, or policy violations to management immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
