Job Summary
Cut meat to specifications for variety, size, quality, and trim under supervision. Greet, assist, and thank customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner while providing continuous attention to their needs. Prepare and package fresh meats, smoked meats, seafood, lunchmeat, and frozen food to production standards. Receive and breakdown meat deliveries, then cube, slice, and grind products as needed. Utilize peak time performance cutting lists to trim all items according to company standards. Properly wrap, weigh, and price product while observing local, state, and government weights and measure laws. Keep the work area clean, orderly, and free from safety hazards, reporting faulty equipment or unauthorized activities to management.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
