Job Summary
Greet customers, assist in selecting meat cuts, and answer questions while providing product knowledge on cuts and cooking techniques. Safely operate grinders, cubing machines, and power saws to cut meats, then set and maintain case displays using first-in, first-out principles to reduce waste. Follow safety protocols to prevent contamination, maintain cleanliness of freezers and coolers, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently. Work long periods standing or pulling heavy stock, rotating through cross-training in produce, bakery, and customer service to support seamless store operations.
Required Qualifications
- Up to 50 pounds frequently; up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Frequent reaching in all directions
- Long periods of standing
- Significant frequent pushing/pulling of heavy carts or pallet jacks
Desired Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of meat cuts and cooking techniques preferred
