Job Summary
Meat Cutter in the Meat Department at Bristol Farms. Responsibilities include cutting, trimming, and boning carcass sections into cooking cuts (roasts, steaks, chops, stew cubes), weighing steaks and chops for individual servings, shaping and tying roasts, receiving and inspecting meat on delivery, informing the Meat Manager about stock status, and providing customers with information on cuts and preparation. The role may involve supervising 3-5 employees in the Meat Department and training or directing work per company policy. The position emphasizes hospitality, a YES! attitude, and a team-focused environment, with benefits and opportunities for growth. Education/experience requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
