Meat Cutter - Apprentice

Meat apprentice role focusing on learning knife skills and meat-cutting for retail. Responsibilities include cutting beef, pork, and packaging chicken; unloading products; operating meat saws, cubers, slicers, scales, grinders, and labeling machines; weighing and wrapping meat; stocking and merchandising; assisting customers; checking code dates; maintaining sanitation; and handling inventory and vendor checks. Must read/write, perform basic math, and lift up to 100 pounds in a refrigerated environment; shifts up to 8 hours; travel to and from work. Experience with pricing, records, and supervising staff, as applicable, is noted alongside general cleaning and sanitation duties.
