Job Summary
Wrap and price product, service customers, and maintain meat display cases while grinding hamburger and receiving deliveries. Stock and rotate all products in display cases and storage areas, keeping merchandise rotated by code dates using the first-in, first-out method. Properly tray, wrap, weigh, and accurately price merchandise while maintaining a clean, orderly work area free from safety hazards. Monitor cooler and freezer temperatures, reporting refrigeration failures immediately, and practice proper sanitation procedures and safe food handling practices. Notify management of theft, shoplifting, or unauthorized mark downs. Complete onboarding and e-learnings within 30 days of hire. Work a schedule based on business needs in cold temperatures, utilizing equipment such as the hamburger grinder, slicer, and pressure washer.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to use equipment/tools
- Demonstrate capability to interact with customers
- Neatness in appearance, with a pleasant, outgoing, self-motivated personality
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work a schedule based on the business needs of the store location
- Authorized to work within the U.S.
