Job Summary
Assist in maintaining pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the meat department. Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, transporting stock, pricing items, keeping shelves stocked, building store displays, rotating perishable merchandise, controlling damaged goods, cleaning the meat preparation room, and ensuring proper presentation of assigned sections. Greet customers, maintain a neat appearance, and abide by company policies. Requires ability to lift up to 70 pounds and follow instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise
- Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas
- Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
