Job Summary
As a Meat Clerk, you will maintain pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the meat department. Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, transporting stock, opening cartons, pricing items, building store displays, keeping merchandise rotated, controlling damaged goods, cleaning the preparation room, and interacting with customers. Key skills required are the ability to read and write, lift heavy items, and follow both written and verbal instructions. This is a part-time position.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product
- Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas
- Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
