Job Summary
Meat Clerk position at Hy-Vee in Blue Springs, MO. Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service in the Meat and/or Seafood Department; wraps, trims, stocks cases, and receives merchandise. Performs sanitation, organizes displays, and assists customers by guiding them to products, handling requests, and communicating customer needs to coworkers. Works with store teams to ensure product freshness, proper labeling, and adherence to department guidelines in a fast-paced retail environment. Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 85 pounds, with knowledge of food safety and basic arithmetic. Employment contingent upon successful pre-employment drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent experience, food safety training.
- Six months or less of similar or related work.
