Job Summary
Provide friendly customer service, package, weigh, label, and stock fresh meat products while maintaining quality and food safety standards. Maintain clean, organized display cases and rotate inventory using FIFO practices. Monitor product freshness, clean equipment and prep surfaces, and assist with receiving deliveries. Support meat cutters and department leadership as needed. Perform basic meat preparation tasks as trained. This part-time role at the New Castle Farmers Market requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting up to 60 lbs in a refrigerated environment.
