Job Summary
Meat Clerk responsibilities include weighing, packaging, wrapping, and labeling cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood; assisting the meat cutter with packaging; inspecting and storing meat on delivery; rotating products to ensure freshness; keeping cases stocked and clean; answering member questions and making product recommendations; adhering to safety and cleanliness standards; and collaborating with team to meet club standards. Prior experience in a meat and/or deli department is preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. Regular attendance and willingness to work as part of a team are required. The role emphasizes fast, friendly service and maintaining GOLD club standards.
