Job Summary
Meat Clerk responsibilities include receiving, weighing, wrapping, and labeling fresh and processed meats, and assisting with seafood, rotisserie, prepared foods, and cheeses. The role involves answering Members’ questions, making product recommendations, maintaining safety and cleaning standards in the meat department, stocking cases, rotating stock by expiration dates, inspecting delivered meat, and supporting adherence to club policies. Team-oriented environment with emphasis on service excellence, inclusivity, and upholding Gold Club Standards (GOLD) in daily operations. Requires ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting, with emphasis on teamwork, speed, and accuracy; minimum age 18; prior experience with meats and wrapping machines preferred.
