Job Summary
Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats while assisting members with questions and recommendations regarding meats, poultry, and seafood. Ensures cleanliness and safety standards are maintained in the meat department. Responsibilities include weighing, packaging, labeling, and inspecting meats, ensuring quality control, and proper stocking and rotation. Requires previous experience with meats and knowledge of food safety.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats
- At least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines
- Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department
