Job Summary
Meat Clerk responsibilities include receiving, rotating, wrapping, and merchandizing meats; assisting in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses; answering Members’ questions and recommending products; maintaining cleaning and safety standards within the meat department; and supporting club policies and teamwork to deliver Gold Standards (GOLD/ GAA) in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge in meats, poultry, seafood, and cheeses, weighing/packing/labeling goods, inventory and rotation according to expiration dates, sanitization of equipment and display areas, and adherence to safety and club-wide standards. Regular, predictable attendance is expected, with emphasis on collaboration, integrity, and member-focused service.
