Job Summary
Receive, unpack, and store fresh and processed meats, poultry, seafood, and cheeses while inspecting deliveries for quality standards. Weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat and seafood, including grinding hamburger meat, and rotate inventory by expiration dates. Assist in merchandising seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheeses, and answer member questions regarding product recommendations. Clean and sanitize all equipment, display fixtures, and cooler/freezer areas to maintain safety standards and club policies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats
- Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines
- Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department
