Job Summary
Receive, rotate, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses. Weigh, package, and label cuts including grinds hamburger meat, while inspecting deliveries for quality standards. Assist members by answering product questions and making recommendations. Maintain cleaning and safety standards by sanitizing equipment, display fixtures, and cooler/freezer areas. Follow established guidelines for disposing of damaged or expired products and ensure cases remain fully stocked. Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed. Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with fresh and processed meats preferred
- Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred
- Prior experience working in a meat and/or deli department preferred
