Job Summary
Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by greeting shoppers, answering phones, and addressing requests. Wrap, trim, stock cases, and receive merchandise in the Meat and Seafood departments. Prepare retail cuts including traying, slicing, tenderizing, and grinding product while ensuring freshness and proper sanitation. Replenish coolers, organize displays, and report out-of-stock items to management. Maintain a clean work area, remove trash, and adhere to personal hygiene and dress guidelines. Report to work when scheduled and on time. Night and weekend shifts required. Starting wage $13.50 to $16.80.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent experience
- Food safety training
- Six months or less of similar or related work
- Must be physically able to exert up to 85 pounds of force (energy exerted) occasionally
- Must be physically able to exert up to 40 pounds of force frequently
- Must be physically able to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly
- Vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction
- Depth perception
- Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
