Job Summary
Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service by greeting shoppers, answering phones, and assisting with product locations. Wrap, trim, and prepare retail cuts including steaks, roasts, chops, and seafood for display. Stock cases, replenish coolers, and ensure proper sanitation while reporting out-of-stock items. Handle heavy items, remove trash, and maintain strict adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines. Work in a fast-paced, cool environment with frequent noise and exposure to cleaning solvents. Starting wage is $13.50 to $16.80 hourly. High school education and food safety training required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+
- High School or equivalent experience
- Food safety training
- Six months or less of similar or related work
- Must be physically able to exert up to 85 pounds of force (energy exerted) occasionally
- Must be physically able to exert up to 40 pounds of force frequently
- Must be physically able to exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly
- Vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction
- Depth perception
- Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
