Job Summary
Provide exceptional guest service at the meat counter and sales floor, fulfilling special orders and answering product questions. Maintain fresh, well-stocked displays by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing meat products and supplies. Honor commitments through regular, timely attendance and provide adequate notice for occasional absences. Collaborate with the team by performing other duties as assigned. This part-time or full-time role includes varying shifts across weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule
- Adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Full range of upper body motion
- Lifting up to 80 pounds on an occasional basis
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures such as freezers, coolers, kitchens, and sales floor
- Repetitive motion of hands and wrists
- Stand in one place for a long period of time
- Bend, stoop, and kneel regularly
- Ability to effectively engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates
- Utilize strong written and verbal skills to work with a crew in a fast-paced environment
- A willingness to learn food safety standards
- Proper training and knowledge of equipment and procedures, including: slicers, proper lifting techniques, trash compactor, baler, etc.
