Job Summary
Provide exceptional guest service at the meat counter and sales floor, fulfilling special orders and answering product questions. Maintain fresh, well-stocked displays by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing meat products and supplies. Honor commitments with regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and provide adequate notice for occasional absences. Collaborate with the team by performing other duties as assigned. This role supports Festival Foods' commitment to serving Wisconsin communities with premium, sustainable seafood and Certified Angus Beef® selections in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+
- Evening and weekend availability
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule
- Adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
- Strong Communication Skills
- Ability to effectively engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates
- Utilize strong written and verbal skills to work with a crew in a fast-paced environment
- Food Safety
- A willingness to learn food safety standards, proper equipment usage (like slicers), and inventory practices
- Ability to Multitask and stay customer service focused in a busy retail grocery environment
- Safety Mindset
- An understanding of safety and food safety practices
- A commitment to following them
- Proper training and knowledge of equipment and procedures, including: slicers, proper lifting techniques, trash compactor, baler, etc.
