Meat Clerk

Receives, rotates, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats, seafood, poultry, and cheeses. Weighs, packages, and labels cuts of meat, including grinds hamburger meat. Inspects and stores delivered products to ensure quality standards are met. Assists members by answering questions and recommending food products. Maintains all cleaning and safety standards within the meat department, including sanitizing display fixtures and equipment. Follows established guidelines for disposing of damaged or expired products. Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
