Job Summary
Greet and thank every customer while providing outstanding service in the cutting room. Assist the Meat Manager with pulls and rotation as requested, maintaining sanitation and cleaning the front, top, and back of all cases daily. Keep wrapping supplies organized and comply with all company policies, dress code, and name tag requirements. This entry-level role requires lifting 60 lb. boxes and handling materials up to 60 lbs, using knives and sharp instruments, and working on floors that sometimes become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have good, corrected hearing
- Must be able to stoop
- Must be able to kneel
- Must be able to reach
- Must be able to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
