Job Summary
Greet and thank every customer while providing outstanding customer service. Assist the Meat Manager with pulls and rotation as requested. Maintain sanitation in the work area and clean the front, top, and back of all cases daily. Keep wrapping supplies organized and comply with company policies, including dress code and name tag requirements. Handle lifting 60 lb. boxes and use knives and sharp instruments for food preparation. This entry-level position supports the Meat Department Manager in delivering quality product in a clean, friendly environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
