Meat Associate

Job Summary
Prepare and produce meat products according to production plans, then package, label, and merchandise items per flight plans. Stock backroom cases and buckets while rotating and dating inventory, notifying the Meat Manager when supplies require ordering. Work independently to ensure financial best interests, guest experience, and safety compliance. Perform basic math functions and communicate tasks, recipes, and cleaning steps to associates. Adhere to all PPE, food safety, and cleaning expectations. Lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally while standing and walking for extended periods in varied temperatures. High School Diploma preferred with one year of retail experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (GED) preferred
- One year of retail or related experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail Oriented
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- The associate may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures)
- Employee is exposed to outside weather conditions
- Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
