Job Summary
Prepare and produce meat products according to production plans, package and label items per program schedules, and merchandise goods based on flight plans. Stock backroom areas with rotating and dated cases or buckets, and notify the Meat Manager when products or supplies require ordering. Work independently to ensure financial best interests, while adhering to all PPE, safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines. Communicate tasks, recipes, weights, and cleaning steps to associates, and be prepared for additional assignments in other departments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (GED) preferred
- One year of retail or related experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail Oriented
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- The associate may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures)
- Employee is exposed to outside weather conditions
- Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
