Job Summary
Develop software and image processing algorithms for inspection technology to support CET product manufacturing. Collaborate with the measurements group to refine data manipulation approaches for production quality feedback. Transfer early-stage development into product-ready applications and create/update documentation for release. Train engineering, maintenance, and operations staff on application usage and maintenance. Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting using data and performance analysis of deployed systems. Requires a BS degree with programming skills in C# and Python, knowledge of image processing algorithms, and ability to train machine learning models. No travel required; 40-hour work week.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree
- Programming ability
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
- Knowledge of image processing algorithms
- Data retrieval, plotting and analysis
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, EE, ECE or Optics
- C# & Python
- Experience with image processing development packages such as Halcon or OpenCV
- Ability to train CNNs and utilize traditional machine learning methods
- Knowledge of statistical analysis approaches and MEE concepts
- Ability to interface with Database Management Systems
- Experience with Metrology, Inspection and Product Quality in support of manufacturing
- Optical measurements system development
- Fundamental knowledge of physical optics
- Ability to interact effectively with customers & coworkers as well as work independently
