Job Summary
Install, test, calibrate, and repair orifice, Coriolis, ultrasonic, mass flow meters, and electronic flow computers while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations. Perform preventive maintenance on gas and liquid chromatographs, troubleshoot measurement systems, and conduct root cause evaluations for equipment failures. Support plant turnarounds, critical maintenance events, and method development to ensure data accuracy for natural gas gathering and processing operations. Drive a company vehicle to facilities for meter installations, regulator settings, and sample analysis. Adhere to strict safety protocols for chemical handling and respond immediately to hazardous conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years experience in the energy field working with measurement equipment
- 2-4 years Gas/Liquid Chromatograph experience
- Experience installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining measurement and regulation equipment
- Training and/or experience relative to: Meter testing and installation
- Training and/or experience relative to: Regulating flow and pressure
- Training and/or experience relative to: Company and governmental operating/safety procedures
- Training and/or experience relative to: Servicing/repairing measuring station equipment
- Training and/or experience relative to: Interpretation of measurement data
- Training and/or experience relative to: Characteristics of product handled
- Training and/or experience relative to: Experience using, maintaining, and repairing tools and equipment used to regulate flow of gas
- Training and/or experience relative to: Experience in reading and interpreting maps, plats, atlas pages, dials, gauges, sample reports, drawings, procedures, correction tables, and applicable operation and safety manuals
- Ability to: apply basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to: apply formulas to validate volume calculations/corrections
- Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information or instruction
- Ability to: travel over uneven terrain including but not limited to: Mud, gravel, sand, rocks, ice and/or snow
- Ability to: walk, stand, kneel/stoop, and drive for extended periods
- Ability to: climb and maintain balance on ladders
- Ability to: operate on elevated work surfaces
- Ability to: work in confined areas
- Ability to: react immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury to self and others
- Ability to: operate tools and equipment as required
